Classes Offered by ABC

Our classes will help with anything from basic manners to problem solving. A good education can also help the communication between you and your dog. Dogs aren’t born knowing what we consider to be acceptable behavior, but they are eager to learn and make us happy!!

So whether you are encountering problems or simply interested in nurturing a mutually rewarding relationship with your dog, ABC can help.

With positive reinforcement training techniques, our focus is on results,
while having fun.

We have several levels of traditional manners classes. These will introduce, or reinforce, cues from the very basic to the very complex.

Do you need some one-on-one? Well, private lessons are also available. These can be done either in your home or at our facility. You just tell us what you need.

Does your pup bounce off the wall? We offer agility classes for any level (competition or just for fun).

Have you heard about Doggy Dancing? ABC offers this new and fun team sport. This course will help you choreograph a routine for you and your furry dancing partner.

Perhaps you are looking for a "low impact" sport for you and your canine companion. Maybe you are just looking for something fun and new to do. Treibball utilizes traditional and herding cues to "herd" fitness balls into a soccer goal.

Perhaps you just want to teach your pet to do those tricks that would amaze your friends. We have a course created by you to teach the tricks you want to learn. Come join us for Ton 'O Tricks.

Perhaps you want to try an obedience trial, but find them too rigid - take a look at Rally-O. Rally-O combines traditional obedience cues with a relay station format.

ABC also offers the opportunity for your dog to utilize it's biggest pleasure - it's nose. A Tracking class will begin to assist you and your furry companion on how to use it's nose to find people, objects and much more.

Do you have a dog that sees a tennis ball and goes crazy? How about a Flyball class? This course will introduce your furry companion to the equipment and how to work as a team of handlers and dogs.

Not sure which of these classes you would like? Well, we have a solution for that too. The Petcetra class is a combination of Traditional Manners, Dance, Tricks, Rally-O, Tracking and Agility. Each week will introduce you to a new exciting doggy "sport" and give you the opportunity to see what makes your team go - YIPPEE!!

Don't have time to commit to a six or eight week class, but REALLY want to do something with your furry companion? We have a variety of 1-hour sessions. Anything from a manner's refresher to an agility workshop. See what you would like to check out.
