Agility Classes
Do you have a
dog that just bounces off the walls? Well, we have the solution - an agility
class.
Agility is fun. Dogs
enjoy the freedom, speed and challenge. Pet parents enjoy the increased bond with
their dog as they work out the challenges inherent in mastering each obstacle.
Agility is also a great form of exercise, mentally stimulating and confidence
building.
There are several
levels. Whether you are joining to have fun or plan to compete, you must
begin with the Agility/Flyball Foundations Class. In addition, if you have
not taken an ABC agility class since December 2008, it will be necessary to take
the Foundations Class before getting back into an actual working obstacle class.

AGILITY/FLYBALL FOUNDATIONS
Once you have completed
the Foundations class, you will move onto the first of two Obstacle
classes. Each class will focus on different obstacles. We will
introduce you and your furry companion to all the obstacles and teach them how to do them correctly and
safely.

AGILITY OBSTACLES
So, you have
completed the Obstacles courses and want to really begin to put them all
together - this is where you need to go next. We offer two Basic Agility
courses to make sure that the dog is very familiar with the obstacles.

BASIC AGILITY
Have you
learned how to maneuver the weave poles, teeter-totter and jumps in the Basic
Agility courses? Well, then it is time to working on your body language.

INTERMEDIATE AGILITY
Okay, so the
dogs know the obstacles and you know the body language - are you ready to put it
all to use? Then, you are ready for Advanced Agility.

ADVANCED AGILITY
Are you
enrolled in an agility class? Are you done with classes, but still want to
play? Then you need to come to the practice sessions.
